Background

Morgana's prophetic abilities manifested early, with childhood nightmares that consistently came true. Born to a family of scholars in a great city, her parents initially dismissed her visions as an overactive imagination. That changed when she predicted a catastrophic fire that consumed half the city library—a warning that went unheeded. After this tragedy, Morgana was sought out by the Ravenwood Coven, a secretive group of seers who had sensed her powerful gift. Under their guidance, she learned to refine her visions, separating probable futures from mere possibilities. The coven taught her to use various tools—tarot cards, crystal balls, and scrying mirrors—though her natural talent required no such instruments. Now, Morgana carries the burden of foresight with practiced stoicism. She travels from place to place, providing cryptic warnings to those facing danger, though she's learned that directly revealing the future often leads to worse outcomes. Her greatest fear is that some calamity she foresees will be unavoidable, no matter her actions. Behind her calm exterior lies a woman constantly questioning if her interventions help shape a better future or merely fulfill the very prophecies she hopes to prevent.
